I stumbled upon this song when I was listening to Gary Valenciano's other song in YouTube. And I fell in love with this song instantly.

The lyric is very comforting for me.
When I told Kia about the song (he studied in the Phillipines where Gary resides), he surprisingly said that the very song is the next song we will sing in our new choir, Ethereal Singers. Nice :D

Church Bell

The bells from the nearby church chimes in the morning and at dawn every Sunday.
I really love listening to them The sound somehow give me a serene feeling.

Our prayer

Minggu lalu di gereja bacaannya tentang doa dari Sirach 35:12-17. Aku ga tau Sirach ini kitab apa. Dari hasil search google, ternyata kitab Sirach itu sama dengan Ecclesiasticus. Aku berasumsi Ecclesiasticus itu sama dengan Ecclesiastes ato Pengkotbah dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Tapi di Alkitab, jumlah pasal Pengkotbah itu ga sampe 35. Hmm, agak bingung juga. Update: Ternyata Ecclesiasticus ga sama dengan Ecclesiastes(Pengkotbah).

Dari hasil googling yang lain, kayaknya kitab Sirach ini salah satu kitab Deuterokanonika yang ga masuk ke dalam Alkitab. Gereja yang sekarang di Delft emang gereja Oikumene, gabungan berbagai denominasi Protestan dan Katolik.

Anyway, berikut ini bagian dari reading itu:

Now.. I didn't believe in horoscope. Just reading it for fun. But HELL, I'd say the one above's pretty scary.

It's true I'm gonna be in a very good place to NOT react quickly. And there's truly a bomb.. Somewhat expected though. It's true that there's little I can do about it. I can only hope my Lord will help me get through this. And gratefully I've done some preparation also, as plan B, C, and so on and so forth (although some of'em are still not good solutions). These things are really consuming my thoughts lately, arrrghh..!

And again it's true that I'd go on a trip soon. Hehe, I think I'd follow the suggestion- not to bring a lot of baggage.

Okay, to balance the horoscope thingie, I'd like to share a verse I got in my email today.

Receiving this verse this morning really lifted up my burden. I was reminded that He is there to "grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference".

As my favourite song stated: God Will Make A Way! ^_^

Got this song all over my head since sang it in B'Therman's wedding..
I think the song is very motivational. So I dedicate this song to my friends who's struggling in their work, in their study, in their Final Project, in their service (I mean for the church), who is sick, who's got sad moments in their life, being left by their loved ones, who feels left alone, everybody...

Especially this one goes to Toman, whose mother will never be close to him physically anymore. May God grant us the serenity to accept things we cannot change.
